Job summary

The Malvern School in Blue Bell, PA is seeking a Lead Teacher for the Toddler classroom. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday and focuses on planning and delivering a high-quality early childhood program in line with school philosophy.

You will maintain a safe learning environment and communicate regularly with parents, including via technology, to meet expectations. A relevant degree with required credits or experience is required, with ongoing professional development offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services.
• Bachelor’s degree with 30 ECE credits and 1 year of experience with children.
• Associate’s degree with 2 years of experience with children.
• Associate’s degree with 30 ECE credits and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
