Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Belvidere, Illinois invites applications for an Occupational Therapy Assistant. You will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to deliver patient-specific treatments and support meaningful functional outcomes for our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• COTA license required or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• 0+ years of OT experience acceptable; strong clinical skills preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with OT and rehab team to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-specific occupational therapy treatments under OT supervision.
• Develop and implement treatment programs based on patient needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of OT therapy and techniques.
• Document patient progress and responses after each session.
• Maintain communication with OT, rehab director, and facility staff.

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our dynamic team, where you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to assist in delivering patient-specific treatments and achieve excellent functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment
