Legend Oaks Healthcare & Rehabilitation - Waxahachie, TX is seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will conduct screenings, develop care plans, and deliver skilled therapy to patients with physical functioning disorders and wounds.

Responsibilities include hands-on treatment, patient/caregiver counseling, and preparing discharge summaries in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• OTA license required.
• Open to COTAs at all experience levels.
• New grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care; create care plans aligned with standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled interventions per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Stand and walk regularly; assist with lifting, transferring and repositioning as patient needs vary.
• Administer procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
