Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation - Waxahachie, TX, is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will work with a geriatric patient population across post-acute services, providing skilled and medically necessary therapy.

As a PTA, you will conduct screenings, develop plans, deliver treatment, and document discharge summaries while adhering to regulatory standards. New grads welcome; licensed PTA required.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment.
• Assist with walking, lifting, transferring and wound care as needed.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including exercises and modalities.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders.
• Generate discharge summaries complying with regulatory requirements.
