Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the One Health OBGYN extended care in Cornelius. This APP position is full time, Monday-Friday 10-8, Saturday-Sunday 8-6, pay range $51.05-$76.60 per hour.

The role involves performing medical histories, examinations, prescriptions, and care planning, with DEA licensing and prescriptive authority requirements. BLS is required and prior APP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for a DEA license.
• Approved to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state one works.
• Eligible for prescriptive authority through Board of Nursing or Medical Board.
• BLS certification with expiration date >90 days from start date.
• 1+ APP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
• Records findings of examinations, assessments and plan of care.
• Writes prescriptions and administers medications.
• Orders and interprets daily laboratory and radiology examinations.
• Documents encounters in the patient’s medical record.
