Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the OBGYN: Morehead practice. This full-time role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with benefits eligible.

You will perform medical histories and exams, write prescriptions, order labs and imaging, document encounters, and advocate for patients within obstetrics/gynecology care. Requirements include NP (or Doctorate of Nursing Practice) and RN licensure, plus national certification; ACNP/AGACNP/NP board

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
• Certification in the area of practice from a nationally recognized certifying body required.
• ACNP, AGACNP, AGNP, PNP, or PNP-AC board certification preferred based population served.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and daily assessments.
• Records findings of examinations, assessments and plan of care.
• Performs minor office-based medical and/or surgical procedures.
