Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred; minimum of 3 years in field of study.
• 3 years experience as a registered nurse.
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, peers and community partners.
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills.
• Must provide professional licenses and certifications required for clinical compliance in the state you teach.
• Must adhere to faculty immunizations and provide documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses that align with qualifications and areas of expertise, assigned by the school.
• Ensure all instructional activities, required contact hours, and delivery responsibilities meet policies and accreditation standards.
• Maintain regularly scheduled weekly office hours to support student learning and guidance.
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence per modality and policy.
• Support achievement of student learning outcomes through curriculum implementation and assessment.
• Accountable to NCLEX preparation throughout the program.
• Full-time faculty teach a full workload.
• Participate in quarterly professional development week activities.
• Attend campus meetings and meetings designated by the Dean.
• Participate in committees and campus events as designated by the Dean.
• Attend graduation ceremonies and community events off campus as designated by the Dean.
• Other duties as assigned.
