Job summary

Hondros College of Nursing in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Faculty member to supervise and mentor nursing students in clinical settings. The instructor will deliver courses, evaluate student performance, and ensure compliance with accreditation standards within the nursing program.

The Clinical Instructor will oversee laboratory, simulation, and clinical experiences, provide feedback, and help students achieve learning outcomes while preparing them for NCLEX success.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred. (Minimum of 3 years experience in field of study)
• 3 years experience as a registered nurse.
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, peers and community partners.
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to provide professional licenses and certifications required for specializations and clinical compliance in the state in which you are teaching.
• Must adhere to the school’s policy on faculty immunizations and be able to provide proper documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with qualifications and areas of expertise.
• Complete all instructional activities, required hours, labs, simulations, and clinical experiences per policies.
• Maintain weekly office hours to support student learning and address questions.
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence per modality and policy.
• Support curriculum implementation and assessment to ensure accreditation standards.
• Be accountable for NCLEX preparation throughout the program.
• Teach a full workload as a full-time faculty.
• Participate in quarterly professional development weeks.
• Attend campus meetings and faculty meetings as designated by the Dean.
• Participate in committees and campus events as designated by the Dean.
• Attend graduation ceremonies and community events as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
