Job Title and Location: Nurse Practitioner – Irvine area, covering Orange County.

Shift Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Registered Nursing.
• Completion of End of Life Nursing Education Program (ELNEC) – all 8 modules within 18 months of employment.
• Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License within the state of employment.
• MSN or Doctoral Degree required.
• Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; compliance with all state and federal driving regulations.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient locations.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening.
• May be required to work outside regular hours depending on business needs.

What you'll be doing

• Assess signs and symptoms of discomfort, including presence of pain, and take prompt and appropriate action.
• Initiate plan of care and provide all services to patients/families in all settings.
• Provide direct face‑to‑face visits to referred and existing patients; contact physicians for patient updates.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations and JCAHO standards (if applicable).
• Participate in the QAPI program.

Anticipated pay range: $75,000 - $80,000 USD.
