Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring for full-time RN or LPN on the night shift (11pm–7:30am) on a rotating two-week schedule in Pompton Plains, NJ. Compensation for RN up to $48/hr + $2 shift diff; LPN up to $41.59/hr + $2 shift diff, with strong benefits including CEUs and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where practicing is required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• A passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach and focus on resident-first care.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and nursing standards.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating residents/families about conditions, meds, and self-care.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to deliver routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices, administer medications, and perform treatments per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document in the EMR and keep records current and accurate.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
