Job summary

Bluestem Communities Management Inc is seeking a full-time Overnight On-Call Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive home nursing care, including wound management and IV hydration, across the service area in Kansas. The role requires on-call duties Sunday through Thursday evenings into the following mornings, with collaboration across physicians, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and currently licensed to practice in Kansas.
• Must have a valid Kansas driver’s license and current car insurance.
• Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Administer wound care, IV hydration, lab draws during home visits.
• Coordinate with physicians, families, and teams to create holistic care plans.
• Respond promptly to provider communications and document interactions; escalate concerns as needed.
• Provide emergency response and ongoing follow-up care; ensure shift handoffs to the Clinical Director.
