Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center in Hackettstown, NJ seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Full Time Nights shift (7p-7a) in Medical Surgical. This role supports physicians and nurses in direct patient care and daily activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

You will assist with bathing, meals, transport, vital signs, and basic treatments, while maintaining collaboration, teamwork, and a positive attitude with patients and families.

Formación

• Level I - High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant, in Patient Care or other related field with demonstrated increased responsibility in the healthcare industry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification and CPR Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activities.
• Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
• Changes bed linen, runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
• Measures and records patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatment.
• Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
• Performs continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
