Job summary

Meadowbrook Village Christian Retirement Community in Escondido, CA is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for a 7 PM to 7 AM night shift in our small, non-profit SNF. The LVN will provide personalized resident care, document and coordinate nursing duties, and ensure compliance with regulations.

We value compassionate care and teamwork in a facility with a 19-bed SNF. Required: California LVN license and at least 2 years in long-term care; strong interpersonal skills; ability to manage care

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in California
• Minimum 2 years of long-term care experience
• Excellent interpersonal and nursing assessment skills
• Ability to organize and direct nursing care
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Ability to oversee others and respond to crises

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality resident care following regulations and policies
• Direct and document nursing duties and care plans
• Monitor and review care plans and procedures
• Report to the Director of Nursing and lead by example
• Perform medication and treatment management with accuracy
• Engage with residents and families with warmth and professionalism
• Participate in ongoing professional development and duties as assigned
