Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, in Covington, LA, is seeking a Full-Time Behavior Health Technician to support adults with brain injuries in residential programs. You will implement behavioral training, monitor client progress, and document daily activities to ensure consistent care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude. 3p-11p shift with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required and responsible driving behaviors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation.
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis.
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities.
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community.
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports).
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.).
