Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced RT NDT Technician in Monroe, NC for full-time work. Local candidates or relocation are preferred; a sign-on bonus and relocation packages are available. Candidates should have LVL II CR/RT experience and be able to perform CR/DR inspections in industrial environments.

The role focuses on digital radiography inspections, reporting, and safety compliance. You will work with production teams and customers to ensure high-quality non-destructive testing results

Qualifications

• Level II RT certification required.
• Experience with digital imaging software and radiographic systems.
• Strong understanding of radiographic inspection techniques and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret codes, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Computed Radiography (CR) and Digital Radiography (DR) inspections.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate CR/DR equipment and imaging systems.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications.
• Ensure image quality meets applicable standards and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow all radiation safety procedures and company safety policies.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Work closely with production teams, supervisors, and customers.
• Support additional NDT methods as needed.
• Work overtime and varying shifts based on operational needs.

RT NDT Technician - Monroe, NC

We are currently seeking experienced LVL II CR NDT Technicians for full-time work in Monroe, NC . Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the Monroe, NC area. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing Computed Radiography (CR) and/or Digital Radiography (DR) inspections in industrial or manufacturing environments and possess a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical accuracy.

Position Summary

The RT Technician will perform digital radiographic inspections, interpret results, and maintain inspection documentation in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, and customer requirements. Candidates must be able to work independently while supporting production and inspection operations in fast-paced environments.
