Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking experienced Level II Radiographic Testing technicians to support long-term inspection projects in Monroe, NC. This full-time role offers pay starting at $30 per hour and up based on certifications and experience, plus sign-on bonuses and relocation packages.

You will perform RT inspections, calibrate equipment, interpret radiographs, and prepare reports. The job emphasizes safety, documentation, and team collaboration across projects.

Qualifications

• Current ASNT Level II RT Certification (or equivalent per SNT-TC-1A).
• State or Industrial Radiographer Card (where applicable).
• Radiation Safety Training (40-hour preferred).
• Experience with digital radiography (DR/CR) is a plus.
• Additional certifications such as MT, PT, UT, VT, or PMI are preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and inspection procedures.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background check, and any site-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections per procedures, specs, and industry codes.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate inspection results.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety requirements and company policies.
• Perform equipment checks, maintenance, and calibration.
• Collaborate with customers, project managers, and technicians.
• Mentor and guide trainees and Level I technicians as needed.
• Assist with additional NDT methods when qualified.
