Job summary

MISTRAS Group in Monroe, NC is seeking experienced NDT Assistants to support field and shop inspection operations. This role is ideal for candidates with prior NDT assistant experience who are looking to grow within nondestructive testing.

You will assist certified NDT Technicians, help set up and maintain equipment, prepare work areas, follow safety procedures, and complete inspection reports. Local travel and occasional overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous NDT assistant experience.
• NDT students or recent graduates welcome to apply.
• Must be local to Monroe, NC.
• No relocation assistance.
• Ability to work overtime and travel locally.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift equipment in industrial environments.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or refinery environments
• Current safety certifications are a plus
• Experience supporting RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT inspections preferred
