Job summary

The National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY seeks a Museum Shop/Admissions Associate. This full-time role handles daily shop sales, admissions duties, inventory, and visitor engagement with a focus on outstanding service.

You will staff the shop and admissions desk, process transactions using Shopify POS and credit card machines, maintain displays, assist with memberships, and help present a welcoming image of the museum to guests and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate computers and Shopify POS and credit card machines.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Weekend shifts may be required or evenings on event days.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily shop sales and customer assistance to meet monthly goals.
• Open/close procedures for the Museum Shop. Manage cash and security.
• Operate the Museum Shop and Admissions POS systems efficiently.
• Provide information about museum exhibits and programs to visitors.
• Cross-train to assist in admissions and memberships as needed.
