Join to apply for the Full-Time Movement Coordinator/Driver (Manheim) role at Cox Automotive Inc.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

This position is responsible for safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles on the Auction property, including driving vehicles to the mechanic and detail shops, following all safety rules and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
2. Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, observing all driving rules and demonstrating courtesy and defensive driving principles.
3. Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the supervisor or team leader, move vehicles as necessary, and locate "lost" vehicles.
4. Assist with vehicle operations as needed, including inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles. Notify supervisors of inoperative or out-of-gas vehicles.
5. Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
6. Follow all safety and health procedures, demonstrating safety commitment and participating in safety activities.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by management, including overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently, sit for prolonged periods, and walk long distances.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, hear, and perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, and climbing.
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds.
• Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous auction experience.
• Ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions with a moderate noise level.

Compensation and Benefits:

Hourly wage: $16.80, with potential additional compensation such as commissions or incentives. Employees receive at least sixteen hours of paid time off per month, seven paid holidays, and other leave benefits.
