An established industry player is looking for a dedicated Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their warehouse team. Weber Scientific, Inc. (Weber), an industrial distributor, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join our warehouse team!
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
• High School degree or equivalent (GED)
• One-year general warehouse experience (preferred)
• Reach Truck experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of UPS & FedEx shipping systems (preferred)
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Be well-organized and detail-oriented
• Friendly, professional, reliable, and presentable
• Knowledge of UPS & FedEx shipping systems a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment and assist others
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds above waist level
Warehouse/Receiving Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to:
• Picking, packing, and shipping orders in an efficient manner that meets both company and customer standards
• Pulling and preparing product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is shipped
• Ensuring order accuracy and following customer shipping instructions if applicable
• Packing product based on daily order flow, sealing boxes, and shipping using FedEx or UPS
• Clearing rollers & building and wrapping pallets
• Unloading inbound freight safely and moving products to storage locations
• Loading/unloading, stacking and staging products and materials using a forklift, Reach Truck, or other power equipment
• Inspecting merchandise, labelling, and receiving inventory using RF Warehouse Computer System
• Assisting with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation
• Maintaining equipment by keeping it clean and safe, and reporting service requests as needed
• Assisting in distribution center/warehouse cleanup as required
• Maintaining box and shipping supply inventory
• Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor
This is a full-time (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm) position in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period. Weber has a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, AD&D and life insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, and 401(k).
