Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRTR and ARRT CT certifications are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines.
• Work independently operating imaging equipment safely and maintaining diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history and verify orders; ensure patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol with sterile technique.
• Position patients and apply markers, shielding, immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete timely documentation in RIS/PACS.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock equipment as required.
• Organize daily workflow and support department flow.
• Ensure compliance and escalate issues to supervisor.
