About The Role

As a member of the property maintenance team, you will contribute to the hotel's commitment to a high-quality guest experience by safely and efficiently maintaining the property. Your tasks include overseeing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance, and general facilities upkeep. Your day will involve preventative maintenance, grounds work, and responding to work orders from teammates and guests. Embracing technology is essential to improve our property maintenance.

This position focuses on mid-day and evening shifts.

About You

You enjoy working independently but understand the importance of teamwork to deliver excellent customer service. You are skilled in preventative maintenance and can assist team members or guests with repairs, demonstrating a 'MacGyver' approach. Your handyman skills include basic construction trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC (including PTAC cleaning), painting, and caulking. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, technical knowledge, and friendly demeanor are your superpowers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and other hotel areas
  • Respond to reported problems and perform repairs
  • Maintain the pool area according to standards and regulations
  • Maintain external property appearance, including lawn, landscaping, and parking lot
  • Conduct building and equipment preventative maintenance
  • Assist other departments to ensure operational efficiency
  • Keep maintenance areas and equipment clean, organized, and secure
  • Maintain knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool, and elevator operation
  • Operate common power and hand tools safely
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Salary: $15 - $20 per hour
