The Elite Retail Merchandising Specialist is a full-time dedicated BDS Representative responsible for conducting break-fix, installation, ad-hoc maintenance work, and general merchandising tasks. Responsibilities include installing/building displays, end caps, fixturing, maintaining displays, PLANOGRAM resets, conducting break-fix repairs, and in-market training for other area representatives.

Support in this role includes:

  • Dedicated BDS Field Manager
  • Paid training conducted virtually, online, and in-store

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install/build displays, fixturing, endcaps, including security, cabling, wiring, monitors/media, and audio
  • Troubleshoot and resolve display issues
  • Lead multi-rep projects, possibly requiring travel (up to 120 miles)
  • Perform ad-hoc maintenance within 48-72 hours
  • Reset PLANOGRAMs, POP, and pricing tags
  • Build relationships in-store and participate in weekly calls
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly
  • Train other reps as needed and obtain necessary certifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with display building, fixturing, monitor connectivity
  • Tool proficiency and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication, organization, and professionalism
  • Proficiency with smartphone/tablet GPS and reporting tools
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and basic toolkit

Logistics:

  • Travel up to 120 miles with paid drive time and mileage
  • Availability for 40-50+ hours/week, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends
  • Adherence to wage, hour, and rest regulations

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 100 pounds with assistance), ladder climbing, and fine motor skills
