Job description

Title: Merchandising Operations Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 3 month initial contract
Compensation: $18-$20/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Merchandising Operations Specialist

Description:
  • Review assigned SKUs for accuracy and completeness
  • View SKUs on the e-commerce site to assess current product display
  • Identify product images in Bynder that are currently used or needed for each SKU
  • Tag images in Bynder with appropriate metadata to classify image type
  • Republish updated images to ensure correct visuals appear on the site
  • Ensure consistent visual representation and branding across all product SKUs
  • Collaborate with merchandising, creative, and digital asset teams to resolve image discrepancies
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency in image metadata tagging
  • Support efforts to optimize and enhance product content for better site experience

Qualifications:
  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance or similar
  • 0-3 years of experience in a business systems or merchandising analytics capacity as a subject-matter expert
  • Background in creating, managing to and improving metrics (KPI) using quantitative analysis
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft suite products
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and an ability to effectively communicate with technical teams
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a driving passion to change, challenge, and improve processes
  • Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence, JIRA, etc.) preferred
