Job description

Purpose

Responsible for the execution and support of the overall supplier dispute process across varied processes and systems for the organization. Establishes professional working relationships with internal and external customers in order to provide timely and accurate resolution, analytics, and reporting.

The Sales team is responsible for providing high quality, streamlined service with a focus on corporate initiatives for their assigned customer(s). Our sales team is crucial in delivering the widest variety of fresh, branded, and owned brand products to community grocers and retail chains alike. With an ever-expanding selection of 1,000 new products every month, our team helps maximize sales with the right assortment of products based on customers' demographics and lifestyle. We are responsible for creating relationships of trust, integrity, customer satisfaction and loyalty to help our customers achieve their goals, delivering better together.

Job Responsibilities

  • Works directly with internal and external customers, suppliers, brokers, internal departments, etc., to research, resolve, all disputes and passes within multiple systems. (50%)
  • Supports the development and testing of appropriate training and documentation to support all work-related activities. (10%)
  • Coordinates with other internal departments regarding resolution, closing process gaps, and documentation requirements. (10%)
  • Provides support for priority suppliers, which includes dedicated access and support for areas provided. (10%)
  • Effectively tracks tasks to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of agreed upon metrics/deliverables. (10%)
  • Processes entries in multiple systems with a high level of accuracy and timeliness. (10%)
  • Performs other relevant job duties as required.

Education/ Certifications/Experience

  • 2-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in office environment within a related field.
  • System knowledge and experience, preferred.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment: Remote Role:

This position is classified as remote where the associate will perform remote work from their primary residence. Remote associates are welcome to work from the office but are not required to do so. While remote associates are not required to work from an office on a regular basis, they may be required to come to the office or other UNFI locations for necessary business reasons or if directed to do so by their manager.
