Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates
• Performing store functions and daily activities as directed
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting store assets, including cash, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensuring store areas meet company standards, including stockroom and sales floor
• Providing supervisory oversight for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, and freight flow
• Meeting productivity standards and assisting with merchandise ordering and stocking
• Maintaining stockroom organization and ensuring sales floor effectiveness
• Planning and maintaining merchandising displays and sales strategies

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
