Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager.
• Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Supporting all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting company assets, including store cash, and adhering to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present.
• Processing all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, managing freight flow, and maintaining stockroom organization.
• Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily, planning merchandising, and maintaining sales-enhancing displays.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
