Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Participating in hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated
• Supporting all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Helping to protect and secure company assets, including cash
• Adhering to all policies and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors
• Ensuring the store, stockroom, and sales floor meet company standards, including recovery
• Taking supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing corporate directives and store communications
• Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and freight flow management
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards
• Assisting in ordering, stocking, and maintaining merchandise and stockroom organization
• Ensuring the sales floor is effective daily and planning merchandising strategies

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
