Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with merchandising and freight processing tasks delegated by the Store Manager
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates as delegated
• Performing store functions and day-to-day activities as directed
• Handling opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Protecting company assets, including store cash
• Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintaining a professional and friendly environment for customers and staff
• Keeping all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards
• Assuming direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent
• Processing all corporate directives and store communications
• Managing receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies
• Assisting in freight flow management and stockroom organization
• Ensuring sales floor effectiveness and planning, merchandising, and maintaining sales tools
• Supporting monthly sales planning and inventory stocking
• Meeting or exceeding productivity standards

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
