Generations Healthcare's Bradley Gardens in San Jacinto is hiring a Mental Health Worker for full-time AM shifts. You will oversee adherence to program guidelines, communicate with clients, provide rehabilitation groups, and assist in crisis intervention.

The role requires teamwork, attention to documentation, and daily community engagement. The position offers healthcare benefits, career growth, and a competitive hourly rate of $18–$21 with benefits starting after the first month of employment.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• At least 6 months of job experience.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family, staff and the public.
• Patience, tact and enthusiasm to handle difficult residents.

Responsibilities

• Escort clients to groups and record participation with a 1:6 group ratio.
• Facilitate groups and activities as assigned.
• Lead MHW discussions and community meetings daily.
• Record client participation on tracking calendars and log updates.
• Distribute and collect calendars; total and log weekly.
• Encourage attendance and ensure forms are completed accurately.
• Document interventions and interactions in the medical record.
• Report changes in behavior to charge nurse and Program Counselor.
