Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) seeks a Member Consultant I/II at the Pullman Bishop Branch to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service while assisting with consumer lending, new accounts, and teller duties. You’ll aim to meet sales and service goals while keeping members' best interests front and center.
You’ll build relationships with members, participate in WSU events to support student financial needs, and work a 40-hour week with some weekend hours.
Member Consultants are the heart and soul of WSECU. In this role you will be supporting both the Pullman Bishop Branch. Every day, you dig deep to listen to what our members need, and you go out of your way to make banking not only easy, but downright pleasant! You’re the go-to, one-stop shop for our members. Knowledgeable, empathetic and eager to help, you know your members by name, and they know you! Current WSECU Member Consultants I, II, or III who apply will be hired in the same tier as you currently hold.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a financial institution or retail/service-related position. Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Must be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annually. Competitive pay for MCI: $21.50 - $32.25 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package. The target starting pay for this position is $21.50 - $26.87 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account. The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increases during their tenure in the position.

Competitive pay for MCII: $24.05 - $36.07 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package. The target starting pay for this position is $24.05 - $30.06 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant’s pay history into account. The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increases during their tenure in the position.
Monday – Friday, 7:45 am – 5:45 pm. Full-time employees work a minimum of 40 hours per week in addition, this position requires availability on some weekends and evening hours as needed for events with scheduling flexibility required to meet the needs of the branch.
