Job summary

CountryHouse Dickinson, part of Agemark Senior Living, is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide to join our dedicated team in Dickinson, ND. This full-time role includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to provide high-quality care around the clock.

You will administer medications per physician orders, document accurately, monitor residents’ conditions, assist with activities of daily living, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure safety and dignity for our residents.

Qualifications

• Active 40-hour Medication Aide certification (or equivalent, depending on state requirements).
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in serving older adults.
• Basic computer skills for medication tracking and documentation.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications according to the physician's orders and residents’ care plans.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain records in our system.
• Observe residents for any changes in condition, side effects, or concerns, and promptly report to nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, providing compassion and dignity in every interaction.
• Build meaningful connections with residents, families, and your fellow team members.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive community environment where everyone feels valued.
