Job summary

Presbyterian Village North is immediately hiring a Certified Medication Aide with a sign-on bonus. Pay starts at $17.00/hour DOE and duties include preparing, administering and documenting medications for residents in a compassionate setting.

Minimum qualifications include a Texas Medication Aide and CNA certification, HS diploma or GED, and strong English communication. The role requires independent work, safety focus, and adherence to care protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Texas Medication Aide certification (TX MA) and CNA certification.
• Ability to organize workflow and document timely and accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer and document routine medications per state regulations.
• Administer the right medication to the right resident, at the right time and dosage.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and vital signs as indicated.
• Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Maintain medication safety and infection control practices.
• Assist with meals and documentation of intake as needed.
• Inventory and secure narcotics and medications.
