Qualifications

• Two years’ medical record experience in an acute care setting.
• Detail oriented with working knowledge of hospital computer systems.
• Cerner EHR experience preferred.
• Medical Terminology knowledge preferred.
• Knowledgeable in HIPAA Privacy.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and manage medical records requests.
• Pull and file back records, files transcribed reports, and organize discharge records.
• Perform concurrent record review during patient stay and assist with incomplete/delinquent records.
• Review physician documentation for quality improvement and data collection.
