Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is recruiting a Full-Time Technical Instructor for the Medical Assisting Program. Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in medical assisting or related healthcare field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Credentials such as CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT) or CCMA (NHA) are required or preferred.
• Teaching or training experience in higher education settings.
• 3–5+ years of recent clinical experience in ambulatory care.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in administrative, clinical, and laboratory medical assisting.
• Deliver instruction in areas including Medical Terminology, Pharmacology, Anatomy & physiology, Clinical procedures, EHR, law & ethics.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with standards and curricula.
• Facilitate skills labs and supervise clinical competencies.
• Evaluate student performance using formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain documentation for accreditation and state regulatory compliance.
