LifeLong Medical Care seeks a Medical Assistant to join our West Berkeley Health Center. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered support in a diverse, community-based clinic and assist with clinical and clerical tasks under supervision.

Requirements include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, current CPR, and at least one year of experience in a medical office or community clinic.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a community clinic or medical office.
• Current CPR certification from an AHA approved organization.

Responsabilités

• Assist medical providers with basic clerical and clinical tasks.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control procedures.
• Perform vaccines and basic in-clinic lab tests (e.g., urine dipstick, glucose).
• Assist with EHR documentation and patient registration.
• Provide patient education and outreach as needed.
