Job summary

Century Park Associates is hiring a Certified Medication Technician (QMAP) for their senior living community in Utah. The role emphasizes high-quality medication administration, adherence to policies, and resident-focused care on a full-time basis.

The position requires a high school diploma, current Med Tech or QMAP certification, and CPR certification (or acquisition within 90 days). Training is provided, and all shifts are available, including NOC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification; certification must remain current during employment.
• CPR certification required at hire or obtained within 90 days and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately reports med errors, or missing medications.
• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan.
• Promotes resident independence in accordance with service plan.
• Complies with all infection control guidelines.
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count.
• Documents medication administration in EHR per policy.
• Participates in community Lifestyles activities and events, encouraging resident participation.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents.
