Job Responsibilities

1. Perform meat and seafood cutting, wrapping, and preparation.
2. Maintain meat and seafood cases.
3. Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, work area, and sales floor.
4. Assist customers with questions about product locations and suggestions.
5. Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate.
6. Assist in ordering and receiving meat and seafood shipments.
7. Perform other duties as assigned or delegated.

Job Requirements

1. Operate equipment such as meat slicers, scales, forklifts, meat grinders, etc.
2. Able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
3. Possess skills in memorization, reading, writing, and math.
4. Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service.
5. Use good judgment, often without immediate supervision.
6. Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions and request supplies as needed.
7. Work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements

1. Operate equipment like meat slicers, scales, etc.
2. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
3. Pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs.
4. Walking on uneven ground.
5. Reaching, bending, and performing repetitive motions.
6. Exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces.
