Cub Willmar is seeking a dedicated individual for a full-time meat cutter position. Meat cutters at Cub are responsible for cutting, wrapping, preparing, and stocking meat and seafood to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform meat and seafood cutting, wrapping, and preparation.
• Maintain meat and seafood cases.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, cases, work area, and sales floor.
• Assist customers with questions about products and suggestions.
• Answer department phone calls and respond or refer as appropriate.
• Assist in ordering and receiving shipments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Operate equipment such as meat slicers, scales, forklifts, meat grinders, etc.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Strong memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service.
• Good judgment, especially when supervision is not immediately available.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Physical Requirements:

• Operate various equipment.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Walk on uneven ground, reach, bend, perform repetitive motions.
• Exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces.
