The Salvation Army Mission:

Job Objective:

Provide maintenance support for the facility, grounds, and other properties.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform general maintenance and repairs at the ARC Center, Warehouse, Thrift Stores, Quarters, and other properties, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
2. Accompany vendors as needed to various locations.
3. Maintain all floor surfaces as needed.
4. Assist with setup and teardown of rooms for operations and programs, including store fixtures, furniture, displays, and room setups.
5. Perform grounds maintenance (mowing, landscaping, etc.) and snow removal at ARC properties.
6. Assist with moving furniture, boxes, etc.
7. Drive a vehicle to obtain supplies and make deliveries.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory duties.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR are required. Travel is expected to all locally owned/leased Salvation Army properties daily, weekly, and monthly based on need.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly stand, use hands, handle, or feel; and hear or talk.
• Frequently walk and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and focus adjustment.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in typical office, store, or warehouse environments, depending on the job location.
