Job summary

The Arbor Company is hiring a Maintenance Assistant at Arbor Terrace Glenview for a full-time, Tuesday–Saturday schedule. If you enjoy hands-on work, fixing things, and keeping a community looking its best, we’d love to meet you.

As part of the maintenance team, you’ll prepare apartments, assist with repairs, respond to resident needs, keep tools organized, and support the Maintenance Director. A high school diploma and reliable work ethic are valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• General maintenance, handyman, painting, or repair experience is a plus.
• Dependable and organized with the ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to tackle various projects.
• Full-time availability Tuesday–Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents with painting, touch-ups and minor repairs.
• Assist with general maintenance and handyman projects around the community.
• Help with basic repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance needs in resident apartments and common areas.
• Keep tools, equipment, and supplies organized and ready for use.
• Support the Maintenance Director with projects and day-to-day needs.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and well-kept environment.
