Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Toledo, OH is seeking a Maintenance Tech to support maintenance, transportation and groundskeeping across the campus. This full-time role typically runs Monday through Friday with rotating on-call duties.

You will perform general repairs, painting, moving furnishings, and safety tasks while helping maintain building systems and grounds. A valid Ohio driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.
• General maintenance experience in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry; HVAC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for residents, families, visitors and partners.
• Performs general maintenance tasks: repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Assists with moving residents' furnishings as needed.
• Paints residents' living quarters as needed.
• Supports preventative maintenance program and equipment care.
• Assists with groundskeeping, snow-removal, and landscape tasks.
• Maintains documentation of safety and maintenance records.
• Assists with transportation tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
