Job summary

Mission Valley Post Acute is currently seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly rate and a resident-centered work environment designed to support high-quality care.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, document care, and collaborate with physicians and CNAs to implement care plans while maintaining compliance with state standards.

Qualifications

• Current and active California LVN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes promptly.
• Accurately document nursing assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist in developing and implementing resident care plans.
• Maintain compliance with state/federal regulations, infection control, and facility policies.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and well-being.
