Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing or nursing program.
• Proof of current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician’s plan of care.
• Accurately report and record patient condition and care, including signs and symptoms of change.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions when giving patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures during catastrophic events or significant patient condition changes.
