Job summary
Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness in Houston, TX is seeking an LVN/LPN to join our skilled nursing team. This full-time role offers 8-hour shifts (6-2) and (2-10) to support patient care alongside RNs and physicians.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of LPN experience, a valid LPN license, CPR certification, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. We offer competitive pay, excellent PTO, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, and more.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as an LPN is required.
- Current state license as an LPN.
- Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing.
- Proof of current CPR certification is required.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician's plan of care.
- Accurately report and record patient's condition and care, including signs/symptoms of change.
- Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
- Assist the physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
- Follow universal precautions in patient care.
- Follow emergency procedures during catastrophic events or significant changes in patient condition.
