Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness in Houston, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for a full-time position to support our skilled nursing team. Shifts run 6-2 or 2-10, with opportunities for both day and evening hours.

Responsibilities include care planning with RN/physician, accurate documentation, progress notes, and assisting in complex nursing situations while following safety and emergency procedures. Requires 1 year LVN experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LPN required!
• Current state license as an LPN
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
• Proof of current CPR certification required!
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician's plan.
• Accurately report and record patient's condition and care.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.

Position and Schedule

• Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN or LPN)
• Full-Time
• 8Hour Shifts (6-2) and (2 to 10)

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications
