Qualifications

• Meets NYS Civil Service appointment requirements for the title of T&R Center Licensed Practical Nurse.
• LPN licensure and registration as outlined by NYS Education Department.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Administers care per plan of care and standards of care/practice; reports changes to RN.
• Administers medications and performs vital signs, blood draws, and EKGs.
• Demonstrates clinical skills and unit-specific competencies; supports patient/family teaching under RN direction.
• Maintains a safe working environment and fosters a positive relation with patients, families and staff.
• Contributes to the plan of care and its implementation; assists new staff integration.
