Thisiscny in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to administer individualized care in line with the plan of care and standards of practice. The role involves medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, and reporting changes to the supervising RN.

You will perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, drawing blood, and assisting with EKGs, with some heavy lifting required.

Formación

• Meets NYS Civil Service appointment requirements for the title of T&R Center Licensed Practical Nurse.
• LPN licensure and registration as outlined by NYS Education Department.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications per plan of care.
• Obtains vital signs and draws blood.
• Performs EKGs and hands-on nursing care.
• Assists with heavy lifting as needed.
• Reports changes in patient condition to the RN and contributes to the plan of care.
