Bellefaire JCB is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time afternoon shifts in our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care to clients, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support treatment planning and documentation.

Experience with pediatric autism or related behavioral health settings is preferred. The role emphasizes patient safety, ethical conduct, and ongoing professional development, with a pathway for supervision

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
• Valid Ohio LPN license.
• Ability to perform duties with initiative and independent judgement.
• Keeps knowledge up to date in nursing practice.
• Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity with diverse clients.
• Clear verbal, nonverbal, and written communication.
• Adheres to professional ethics and agency policies.
• Works effectively as part of a professional team.
• Experience with pediatric autism or psych-friendly settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers and nurses with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Obtain patient history, labs, and vital signs within scope.
• Administer medications and document administration per orders.
• Submit regular reports to the provider as requested.
• Educate clients and residential staff about medications and health needs.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure quality client care and smooth transfers.
