Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a multi-disciplinary team caring for children and youth with behavioral health needs. The LPN will conduct initial nursing assessments, administer medications and triage daily medical needs in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to safety protocols, and active participation in treatment planning, with orientation and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• LPN license in CT (or eligible)
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and use Safe and Positive Approaches

Responsibilities

• Perform initial nursing assessments for minors
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Triage medical needs on a daily basis and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams
• Attend required orientation and participate in care planning
